The Ravensbourne Prom

 On the Friday that just past, it was my sixth forms prom. It took place at Bickley Manor Hotel, in Bickley close to Bromley. I didn't quite know what to expect from it because I had never been to a prom before, and discussing it beforehand with my friends, we were very hesitant to attend for many reasons. However my 3 closest friends and I went and I think we had a good time! On arrival we had a 'professional' photo and saw some of our teachers. As we entered, there were loads of stares flying across the room, with people checking each other out and seeing if anyone wore matching dresses! We got there at a good time as we were able to get a table all together, where later four funny boys joined us. Not knowing what the menu was, we were greeted at our seats with a fruit starter, followed by roast chicken and vegetables, which was completed with a lovely chocolate cake afterwards. This was all washed down by a glass of not so great wine. The evening flew by with music, dancing, chatting, drinking along with many photos taken and a long walk home, which was painful in bare feet but we survived!
